It is also useful for people who want to develop Shopify stores as a professional or freelance service.
No previous Shopify experience is required. Participants should, however, be comfortable using a computer, web browser and common online applications.
Training Methodology
The course will be delivered through live demonstrations, step-by-step practical exercises and instructor guidance. Rather than learning Shopify only through presentations, participants will be encouraged to work on an actual store throughout the eight sessions.
Where appropriate, participants can use their own business or product idea so that the training results in a store structure that can subsequently be developed into a live commercial website.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the program, participants should be able to independently set up and customize a Shopify store, create and organize products, configure essential store settings, understand payments and shipping, manage customers and orders, install appropriate apps, apply basic SEO and marketing techniques, monitor store performance, and prepare a Shopify store for public launch.
Expected Practical Outcome
Participants who complete the exercises throughout the program should finish the training with a substantially developed Shopify eCommerce store and a practical understanding of how to manage and improve it after launch.
